EM - AI Cloud Software Stack - 2 Posts

Job Responsibility: At AI4ICPS we are building an MVP to make AI accessible as a web browser clickable and easily adaptable service. These shall include Cloud Computing and Services, AI Cloud, AI Compute as a Service, and Cyber-Physical System as a Service. We are scouting for a highly skilled professional with experience in a similar role to supervise a team of Project Engineers in building the AI Cloud Software Stack.

Qualification: Ph.D. in EECS from IITs/IISc or a reputed University with 1+ years of Industry experience. M. Tech / MS / equivalent in EECS from IITs/IISc or a reputed University with 5+ years of Industry experience. Exceptional candidates with B.Tech. degrees with a proven track record as Engineering/Technology Managers in AI+ML or HPC and servers, the ESDM sector shall also be considered.

Relevant Experience: 

• Industry experience as Technology Manager / Technical Staff / Project Managers in High-Performance Computing, Server Systems, Cloud, Data Centers, Networking, and/or AI Hardware Design for IoT/ Edge Computing. Team-leading experience is also desired.
• Candidates are also expected to have an experience in AI+ML deployed in Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) to have created products and product lines or key technology releases which may include the likes of but are not limited to connected cars, autonomous mobility, smart hospitals, and connected healthcare delivery, smart grids, transportation networks, robotic manufacturing processes, Industry 4.0, smart and AI-enabled farming solutions, smart classrooms, etc.
• EM - AI Cloud Software Stack is expected to have an understanding of cloud technologies and standards including Operating Systems, Schedulers, Virtualizers, Hypervisors, Load Balancers, Network Controllers, Containers, HPC and GPU Drivers, programming languages like Python, Julia, AI/DL libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc., accelerators like Nvidia cuDNN and Intel MKL-DNN.
• Exceptional critical thinking, leadership, networking, and communication skills are desired.
• Previous experience in fostering collaboration between academia, industry, and startups.
• The candidate should be open to travel as needed for the job, should have strong management skills, and a strong bias for action.

Compensation: Rs. 1,00,000.00 to 1,50,000.00 per month consolidated based on qualification and experience. Annual performance review-based appraisal of compensation and incentives. Other work-related facilities and allowances include a Laptop, internet and telephone allowance, and others as approved by the HGB/Board of Directors.

Job Responsibility: Work closely with the AI4ICPS Chief Executive Officer or CEO to design, develop and run Incubation and Acceleration programs. Develop and execute strategy for outreach, scouting, evaluating, selection, and onboarding of quality and innovative AI, ML, and CPS startups founded by early-stage entrepreneurs and students. Own, develop, and execute a rolling calendar of operational and engagement strategies for all the stakeholders such as startups, investors, institutes, corporates, mentors, advisors, and domain experts. Good understanding and network access to the entrepreneurship ecosystem to provide high-quality mentor and advisory support to entrepreneurs. Manage the day-to-day interaction with the startup founders and provide continued strategic guidance in business modeling, sales, and marketing, financing, fundraising, overall strategy, operations. Apply for various government schemes and grant programs targeting startup and technology incubators. Drive entrepreneurship awareness and development events at IIT Kharagpur and beyond to educate interested students and guide them.

Qualification: Minimum Bachelor's degree required and MBA in marketing or communication is preferred

Relevant Experience: 

• Min. 3-5 years of experience in working with incubators, accelerators, startups, startup ecosystems, and entrepreneurs.
• Min. 3-5 years of experience in the design, development, and execution of Startup Cohort Programs for incubators and accelerators. 
• Min. 3-5 years of experience in calls for startup challenges, startup idea curation, startup programs management, and communication. 
• Ability to work with diverse groups including businesses, entrepreneurs, major corporations, universities, the public entities
• Prior experience as a co-founder of a startup is highly desired. 
• Experience in being part of a growing company management team and or a startup that has scaled fast.
• Evidence of strong organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills.

Compensation: Rs. 70,000 to 1,00,000 per month consolidated based on qualification and experience. Annual performance review based on an appraisal of compensation and incentives. Job Responsibility:  The Account Executive is expected to be responsible for maintaining the financial accounts of the TIH, handling purchases and tendering, taxation, financial compliance filing, and carrying out internal audits, among others

Qualification & Relevant Experience: 

• M.Com with 1+ years in experience or B.Com with 3+ years experience in accounting in reputed firms.
• Experience in GST, tendering, final accounts and audits, taxation, audit regulations, and financial compliance filing, among others. Excellent written and verbal communication in English is a must.
• Sound knowledge of Accountancy

Job Responsibility: 

The Engineering Administrator will be responsible to lead the IT infrastructure and provide technical operational aspects for the support and assistance to the team. They will be under the supervision of the CEO for regular updates and daily reporting. They will also assist in the planning and execution of technical projects, and provide support for technical activities such as testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

• To look after all the IT Infrastructure and company assets in terms of hardware and software.
• Maintenance of Servers in the facility and keeping them up and running.
• Maintain the network infrastructure.
• Should have knowledge of Business Administration and Gov Policies.
• Preparation of technical reports and documentation for the company.
• Maintain technical databases and documentation systems.
• Communicate technical information to non-technical personnel clearly and concisely.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new technical procedures and processes.
• Lead the other technical staff to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.

Qualification:

• B-Tech in any of the following disciplines EIE, CS, and IT.
• Strong technical skills, with experience in Business Administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify technical issues and develop solutions

Job Responsibility: The Junior Account Assistant will support the finance team with various accounting duties, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, data entry, and financial record-keeping. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team

• Assist in processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Should provide support in day-to-day accounting work.
• Assist in Reconciling bank statements. 
• Assist in Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation in the office.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including scheduling meetings, answering phones, and responding to emails

Qualification:

• Graduate’s degree in Commerce or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sound knowledge of Accountancy & Commercial laws.
• Sound knowledge of Cashbook Maintenance, Bank reconciliation.
• Sound knowledge of GST, tendering, final accounts and audits, taxation, and audit regulations, 
• Good writing  & speaking skills in English are a must.
• Proficiency in MS-office and accounting software.
• Experience in a similar role is preferred, but not necessary.

Compensation: Rs. 20,000.00 to 30,000.00 per month consolidated based on qualification and experience. Annual performance review-based appraisal of compensation and incentives. Job Responsibility: The Legal Associate is expected to assist the GM - Secretarial and Legal in drawing and closing contracts, complying with Company Laws, responding to RTI, and helping start-ups with legal compliance, among others.

Qualification: LLB/LLM with specialization in Corporate law with 1+ year experience in corporate law firms.

Relevant Experience: 

• Proven experience in company laws, corporate contracting, contract drafting, legal litigation, and RTI. Experience in a similar role in a technology organization is desired.
• Experience in dealing with such activities in a technology start-up is highly desired. Prior experience in a similar role in a Government Sector/PSU would be a plus.
• Previous experience in fostering collaboration between academia, industry, and startups.
